I just bought a HDTV, and I’m trying to figure out what’s the best/cheapest way to use it. I don’t have a digital cable box or a satellite dish, so I won’t be subscribing to anything. Do I need to buy an HD DVD or Blu-Ray player? Would it be possible to download HD movies and hook my lap-top up to my TV? Also, what does HD Upconversion mean?

I would have thought that the picture would be limited simply by the cameras used back then.

Hi I have 21 Blu-ray movies & I just notice that “some” Blu-ray movies has grainy & pixels when I watch the movies. The movies are Terminator 3,300,Hitman,3:10 Yuma & Planet Earth. Does anyone has experience it?

I have Sony 40” HDTV/LCD with 1080P & using Philips HDMI cable. Yes I do have HDTV boy.

I am doing some research for a gift for someone. We need old classic black and white war movies on Blu-Ray…..preferably but not limited to movies about the Navy. As I am not a huge fan of this genre I am at a bit of a disadvantage of where the best places are to search and what some of the best movies would be.

If anyone can give me some ideas of classic b&w War movies and if you know where I can find them on Blu-Ray, I would greatly appreciate it.
