Can a blu ray from Japan play on an American blu ray player?
I’m wondering, cuz I’ve heard Advent Children Complete, a movie on blu-ray, came out in Japan yesterday, but people in America are buying it from Amazon (or other places like that) and watching it on thier PS3’s with no probs. I’m wondering if it’ll do the same with a blu ray player that’s built into a PC.
Will a Playstation 3 from Japan, play PS1 & PS2 games from USA?
I know that the PS3 games & console will be “region-free”. So any PS3 game will play on any PS3 console.
HOWEVER — I have heard that PS3 will still be limited to regions for older PS1 & PS2 games. (I assume because those games where made “region-specific”) Meaning that a PS3 from Japan would play PS3 games from USA(or anywhere), but only PS1 & PS2 games from Japan.
Does anyone know if this is true?
P.S. I also already know for a fact that the PS3 is NOT region-free for DVD’s or BlueRay movies.
If USA were one person and Japan another, who will be smarter and why?
And also, why is it so hard for US to recognize that Japanese are smarter?
I read that their fastest computer is faster than the 50 fastest USA computer. They are around 10 years are ahead of USA in technology. While we look a HD Blu Ray, Japan is already developing Ultra HD, a image technology 16 times better than HD (google or wiki it for more info)
They came up with HD, Blu Ray technology, the 2 biggest Video Game company, LCD, Plasma, OLED (new Sony tech), cars, etc. It is easier to find a Honda here than a Ford Focus in Japan.
MPG average in cars here is 25 miles, in Japan is 47-50 miles per gallon. What we learn here in high school, they learn in junior high.
