Thanks guys…the software name is WINDVD Blu Ray 9 Plus…
Just picked it up. Works fine with regular internal dvd drives to upconvert to near Blu Ray quality…as is possible to take 480p close to 1080p.

Is there any way to make the ps2 take region a blue ray dvds? or any other regions if theres more then 2? any information would be greatly appreciated. Does it work this way with all blue ray players?
There is 3 regions. Australia is region b and the disc is region a – i also meant ps3 not ps2.

which do you buy: DVD’s or Blu’ray? Or neither?

I would have thought that the picture would be limited simply by the cameras used back then.

They are in mint condition. We do not want to sell them back to FYE (or something similar) as we hardly get anything for them. We are looking for the easiest way to sell them while getting the most we can for them.

what date did the first blue ray get release?

i’m sure it depends on what bluray player you get, but in general how much of a difference is there when standard definition dvd’s are upconverted?

I know it is region specific for Blu Ray discs, but what about DVDs? I am thinking about buying from Amazon.
