How to burn Blu Ray updates onto a disk?
Hi all,
My dad has a blu-ray/hd dvd player (it plays both). He never signed up for Blu Ray to send him the updates, so now he can’t play most blu ray dvd’s. He wants ME to figure out how to burn the firmware onto a disk, to play on the bluray and update the player. In a week he’ll get the disc that he called Blu Ray to send him, but he wants it NOW, and doesn’t bother doing it himself.
How / what is the process needed to install the update onto the blue ray player?
Is it possible for a DVD player to play a Blu-Ray disk?
I intend to buy a certain anime series that’s just out on Blu-Ray disk,but unfortunately, I only have a DVD player with me. Is it possible for a Blu-Ray disk to play on a DVD player?
Can you download a ps3 demo and still play another game from your bluray disk?
i wanted to know if you could do it because it takes a while to download and wanted to play another game in my spair time.
what is the advantages of a “blue ray” disk over other storage medias such as hard drives etc.?plaese advice.?

Upgrading disk drive in laptop?
Is there anyway I can upgrade my laptop by taking out the old disk drive and putting in a new one that can play bluray? Would I need to have a certain graphics card or what? I currently have a ATI RADEON X1250. Would I have to upgrade the system RAM or anything else? Or could it all just stay the same?
