Dude, what freakin blu-ray have you been watching?

  • puppetmaster983:

@DangerDrVenture At least someone else noticed that.

  • DangerDrVenture:

Funny that his name is almost universally misspelled as “Ackroyd”. It’s Aykroyd.

  • Seaclam67:

The Blu -ray is good, obviously better then the DVD, but there’s to much grain and it can be distracting at times. The studio will probably “double dip” and come out with a better transfer at some point. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good upgrade from the DVD, but when movies like Braveheart, older movies like The Godfather and Patton, Singing in the Rain, the old Bond stuff have transfers that are fantastic, there’s no reason why this modern day classic can’t be better than what we got.

    godsake!

  • bark1986:

dvd sucks ass – with blu-ray you can control the menu during the movie
only thing bad about bluray is that you can easly spot a boom mic or camera man – i laughed my ass of when i was watching transformers 1

  • eektherigo:

blueray is the worst thing to happen to movies. they look too digitized!! like short movie clips you see in video games.

  • silentbob8201:

No, Dan Ackroyd is not Dan Castellaneta . Why would you ask such a retarded question sir?

The blu-ray has a lot lot lot of grain.
The PQ is not cristal clear
The transfer is respectful the vision of director, but the PQ is disappointing
