I just bought a Dell XPS Studio 16. It has a 1920 x 1080 screen, but no blu-ray drive. How do I play 1080p Blu-Ray torrents on my laptop? Do I need special software or something? Thanks for the help.

I saw that walmart had one that was a little over 100 dollars. The rest are much more expensive. Are they really better than the regular ones, and can you play regular dvds on it?

OK, first, pardon my ignorance, but I would like to know what on my receiver, besides the speaker wires, needs to be cabled. Right now I have Plasma TV HDMI 1 to FiOS Hdmi. I have HDMI 2 to blueray DVD. Now I am adding a new receiver without HDMI capabilities. What do I need for cabling to get 5.1 surround? Thanks in advance

Is the new Blue Ray going to replace DVD’s or just add on to them? I hope it doesn’t replace them because I own about 140 DVD’s (I collect movies) and over 100 VHS, I don’t need another movie medium to have to work with. Not to mention I will have to fit a Blue Ray on my tv stand next to the VHS player and DVD player and nintendo. I don’t think I can fit it.

Are they gonna replace DVDs or are Blue Ray discs gonna be the primary option for movies?

What makes them so special anyways?
